pretty well translated as I have read the incident myself. The only term I would like to explain though is co-brother. It is basically your wife's brother in law (but not your real brother). It is wife's sister's husband. The urdu terminology is hum-zulf. Of the same lock of hair (literal translation). He is unto you what you are unto him. Both are wife's sister's husband to each other.

Mashallah hazrat maulana ahmed ali lahori rh was imam of the auliya. No ordinary person. If our dear friend dr76 sees this thread do you remember the mamolaat of hazrat lahori rh which you read from a book of hazrat lahori rh when I came to your house. If dr76 saab could mention this it would be useful. Hazrat lahori rh became bait at the age of 9 and got khilafat at the age of 49. Very amazing person Mashallah.

What was your real purpose in quoting this Glorious Ayat from Surah Baqarah? I honestly don't see the link and feel you are quoting things out of context, wallaahu 'alam. People are discussing about the Friends of Allah ta'aala and I personally have experienced the miraculous effects of just reading stories of Awliyaa (such as Tazkiratul Awliyaa). There is much blessing in speaking about the pious.

Of course, their deeds will benefit them, but in mentioning about them rahmat and barakah descends, which we are all so in need of. After all, better to speak of them than to discuss about Bush & Blair...

You can read "tajalliyat-e-safdar" in urdu. The books run into thousands of pages. Here he has refuted the claims of barelvi, gair muqallideen and shias.

The barelvi, gair muqallideen and the shias consider Moulana Ameen safdar okarvi RA to be the biggest threat. His five hours munazirah (debate) with the ameer of ahle hadeeth is worth listening.
