I was just speaking to a sincere muslim brotehr who is not the most religious of brothers but mashAllah has a good heart and desires to improve himself and from what I can hear, the state of the muslimeen is shocking. Really, the youth in the UK are in a terrible way, prostitution, drugs, women taking off their hijabs and running off with kuffar, I have been hearing what the average muslims in sheffield are like and honestly im shocked and think we deserve the oppression we're facing and how can we expect rulers and political situations which are good when we are doing the things we are going. Allahu musta'aan. NExt time i hear people moaning about the rulers I will be thinking of the general muslim masses and asking myself do they really deserve good rulers?

rebelling against the rul;ers is a long topic, but either way, i do think we deserve what we're getting giving the absolutely shocking and terrible state of the muslims. i dont fear the oppression and violence comitted by kuffar and corrupt muslims, i fear the corruption of the muslims. as long as we are firm, then no matter what they do, islam will always be strong, the kuffar can never wipe our 1.5billion people, but when we become corrupt then thats the worrying thing.

The ruminations of some people on that topic is ridiculous. You could hardly make a worse case for not doing it than they have.

its not about if its easy or hard to say, its about the reason Allah has bestowed this destruction upon us. Or perhaps you think our destruction is purely because of the kuffar and munafiqeen and has nothing to do with Allahs qadr?

No, Allah's Qadr is not 'put aside' by anything else. Kuffar and munafiqeen do not have the 'power' to 'subvert' Allah's Qadr- nothing does. If I thought that, I would be a mushrik.

But this argument essentially lets off rulers by way of the same argument that the Arab pagans used - If Allah had willed, we would not have committed shirk! Or, in this case, if Allah had willed, Hafez al-Asad would not have pulled out fingernails and flay alive, and King Abdullah having people chained in ankle chains and beaten by thugs and dhalimun, and Mubarak would not have tortured detainees for the USA...

But none of that is an excuse...
