A person is a real greater monkey (without doubt), if he thinks that for 1400 years ummah was deaf, dumb and blind in following the deen. This accusation is also against the great muhadditeen, mufassireen and awliyah.

A few people have got back their vision, speech and hearing after 1400 years.

Dr Sahab I realized that these are adolescents roaming around and only Allah(SWT) knows when they'll get the taste of Islam if we do not do our best to reason with them. Strange - so little time and so much to do.

The best thing to to do is make dua to Allah for hidaya for them and us. I heard in a lecture of Shaykh Hassan Ali, that a Da'ee should pray tahajjud and make dua for the guidance of others.

True. This is an oft repeated saying in our circles. May Allah(SWT) grant us the ability/capability/opportunity to implement it.
