Default Saying Allah Hafith and Khuda Hafith in Islam
Asalamu Alaykum. When we say goodbye to someone we say Khuda Hafith or Allah Hafith.

Can you tell me its origin, and any sources about this? I never read any hadith where the prophet (saw) said these words?

Are they Bidah? I would like to see what you know about this matter.

W/salam.

According to mufti zarwali khan sb db:

For languages other than Arabic, the words used for "Allah" must have three things:

1. They are a translation of a real name of Allah.

2. They are specific only to Allah.

3. The word is not used for any other than Allah.

The pressure to use only Allah and words like khuda etc is a fitna of the deniers of Hadith.

All the spelling mistakes from askimam made it hard for me to read it.

So you can say Allah hafith and Asalamu Alaykum when bidding farewell? They are not bidah, but Khuda Hafith is biddah, right? Majority of pakistani, irani, afghani people use Khuda hafith, indians sometimes also say words like "Adaab", and some arabs said Asalamu Alaykum, so Asalamu Alaykum and Allah hafith is good?

But askimam did not give any refrences, so I'm still confused.
