Eating Lambs, Calfs, and young animals: Harram or Permissible?
It is known that sacrificing young animals under a certain age is not permissible
Does anyone know if this also applies to slaughtering them for food or just for sacrifice?

This rule is only for Wajib Sacrifice what we do in Eid ul Duha. Other than that any age animal can be slaughtered.
