The system of the dajjal (anti-messiah) made people very pessimistic, it has dispirited them. Our people should not submit to this low spirits. They should not give in to this pessimism. Let them attain joy by submitting themselves to Allah by thinking favourable about everything and by looking at everything with goodness. That is because sadness makes one lose reason, dispiritedness makes one lose reason. It keeps one away from religion, it makes one breft of foresight, breft of wisdom.There is a verse in the Qur'an referring this fact; it causes lack of foresight. For that reason one needs to be in search of happiness, he needs to be a man looking everything favorably and in goodness, in cheer, he needs to be forgiving. For instance, not forgiving would cause a devastating tension. Attempting to take revenge would cause tension. For instance if a person has an enemy, this would cause a devastating tension in his heart, it causes discomfort but if he turns that person into a friend, he would feel relieved. Or else one would be distressed. And one should not look for faults in others; he should always look for goodness and beauty in them. When looking for flaws, one would be very much distressed, he becomes depressed. In which case you cannot see the beauty in anything. One needs to see the beautiful aspects of everything, the auspicious aspects of everything. One needs to find a nice aspect even in the most negative person and draw that person to goodness. If you pay attention this is my method, insha'Allah. Even to a person who seems to be most negative, if you treat him nicely, he actually turns into a person useful to Islam and the Qur'an. Casting people out is very dangerous, it is a very abnormal manner. Enmity is also very dangerous. If one changes for the worse that would be very dangerous; he could even turn into an animal, may Allah forbid. One needs to approach others always with goodness and draw him to goodness by suggesting goodness and saying that they are good, because then that person would become happy. And thus a person would be won for Islam and that person would be saved from damaging others, insha'Allah.
