Do any of you feel that you spend tooo much unnecessary time on the internet? if yes, what do YOU find to be the most effective and easiest way of cutting down internet time, especially during the holidays - when you have all the time in the world to spend online?.?.?

Yes, and the only way to cut back on this is to limit yourself to the ABSOLUTE NECESSARY online, like checking emails and thats it, easier said than done though. It is better to force yourself away from the internet and spend time with friends and family during the holidays.

I spend waay too much time too, I think. Its difficult to assess when your work relates to you being on the computer most of the day. You're always tempted with 'sneak peeks'

Yeah i know! same thing happens when you studying online...lol. its almost IMPOSSIBLE not to get addicted to certain sites AND very difficult to concentrate!

The best remedy is to cut the internet connection.

Been there, done that .. got the gold medal too!! lol.

I know some people that actually get a close friend or family member to change the passwords on their accounts around exam times. Works like a charm

same here! but im usually multi tasking and alot of those times one of my tasks in beneficial like listening to a bayaan or doing some design work for the ulemah
