Ive got black magic done on me,and i think im being targeted by an occult group(Muerte,Illuminati,ect)some one calls my phone and breaths in and doesnt say anything,then hangs up,they blow in it, an alim told me that means some one is putting a black spell on me.Also im thinking about becomeing a shia or hanafi or maliki but i want to get rid of black magic first,what should i do?

When I was younger we used to call people and do the same thing or say something on the phone and then hang up - its called prank call. Next time just call police and report the caller, black magic and all sorts of magic will run away once police give that person a return call.

Have you checked out the possibility that it might be the same "Alim" at the other side on the phone and he might want to put you in a condition where he can rip some money off you?

Get over it and you will rip him off the money he spent in making calls to you.

Ask that aalim for solution according to quran and sunnah...

Dearest Brother,

I understand u must be extremely stressed and worried right now. Who wouldn't be, after all. If u are truly feeling completely helpless and hopeless, rejoice for there is a chance to turn towards your Rabb.

Imam Ghazzali rah. says something like, "When a slave of Allah turns unto Him after having forsaken the heavens and the earth, Allah ta'aala would suffice him even if the heavens and the earth plotted against him."

In Surah Baqarah: 102

And follow that which the devils falsely related against the kingdom of Solomon. Solomon disbelieved not; but the devils disbelieved, teaching mankind magic and that which was revealed to the two angels in Babel, Harut and Marut. Nor did they (the two angels) teach it to anyone till they had said: We are only a temptation, therefore disbelieve not (in the guidance of Allah). And from these two (angles) people learn that by which they cause division between man and wife; but they injure thereby no-one save by Allah's leave. And they learn that which harmeth them and profiteth them not. And surely they do know that he who trafficketh therein will have no (happy) portion in the Hereafter; and surely evil is the price for which they sell their souls, if they but knew.

SO I advise u to take this opportunity to look over what sins we have been commiting and make a pledge to repent.
Start with perfecting the fardh, these are your ultimate fortress, and go down the sunnah implementing as much as you can.

On a more specific note, recite Surah Baqarah frequently.

Go with whichever madhhab u can find scholars nearby. If u r in a Hanafi-dominated area, go with the Ahnaaf. Otherwise do some research and see what u discover.

the phone call bit is really creepy but as others have said,maybe it is just a prank call . Just report it to the police or block that number(if its possible) or dont pick up calls from that number anymore(if you have caller id)

a sister told me one way to "know whether you have been afflicted with Sihr, 'ayn/hassad (evil eye/envy), or mess (possession), then the best test to do is to recite the first ten ayah's of surah As-saafat and continuously repeat the first 10 ayahs for 10 minutes, and on the last time, complete the entire surah.

It's important that you:

1) make wudhu before beginning to recite.

2) Seclude yourself somewhere quiet and read continuously without any noise or disturbances.

3) The recitation MUST be loud.

4) You must focus on the ayahs, and on their meaning.


Then what you need to do, is observe yourself in three positions:

1) Whilst you're reciting.

2) After you finish reciting by two hours.

3) The next day when you wake up in the morning- notice if you feel fatigue, exhaustion etc.


That's the test you need to do in order to find out insha'Allah."

(masha'Allah the sister who told me is really knowledgeable in islam and i trust her advice but you can verify it first if you want.. although i dont think you would be doing anything wrong because you are reciting ayahs from the noble Qu'ran).


anyways brother insha'Allah whatever happens is for the best and whatever this problem is (be it a prank call or something serious) it will leave by the will and mercy of Allah Subhanhu Wa Tha'ala. May Allah Subhanhu Wa Tha'ala ease your and our affairs ameen.

In another djinn thread some one has listed some simple actions during the day with reference to the recommendations by Maulana Yunus Patel (RA). Please find them and start acting upon them and forget the rest.
