Default e.COMMERCE and WEBSITE DESIGN.
aaww,

just needed some help and direction from my fellow muslims.
i am in the process of searching for someone/company who can help me and my partners set up a website where i can sell goods from.
briefly, we have had meeting with a company called "webtise" based near liverpool and also talked to a few other muslims who are also involved in this field.
initial set up with "webtise" is approx £3500 and then ongoing maintenance and support is at extra cost(anything from £250 to £2500 monthly depending on level of support etc).
are there any experts who can advise me on how all the above sounds and what to look out for, and does the cost sound ok.
is there anyone out there who can direct me to a particular reputable company/individual.

would prefer to go with someone who is going to be close at hand for advice and support.i am based in the north west of ENGLAND.

depends on what your website is like, do you have any special requirements or is it just your usual commerce site?
for your average commerce site the mainenance costs sound high, what maintenence do you think you would require once website is up and running, if its adding removing products you should really have a system where you can do that yourself

make sure you check out peoples portfolios before going with them, some of the costs are very high but visually the websites are not appealing and don't look professional...for an ecommerce website the look is more important because if it looks shoddy but works great customers will be turned off and go elsewhere because people see shoddy design as an unreliable business

the maintenance costs seem very high! what maintenance are looking at? if its just adding content then all you need is a content management system.

explain exactly what you are trying to achieve from this website or contact me on enquiries@cre8tivestudios.com

thanks for reply.
the website we are trying to create is one which will need adding new products on and updating product range.
the business is to do with a wide range of products and basically selling these online .(sorry i can't mention the business because i take it as a trust to my partners not to reveal without their permission )
i am new to this field so please excuse me for my ignorance.
only other thing is having a payment system for customers.any info on this on what to go for.
sister, have you been on webtise and you say their website designs are not appealing, have i understood correctly?

inshallah we can do that for you. contact us for a quote and too see our portfolio. in the least we can offer you advice. the price you have been quoted seems a bit high, especially the maintenance. adding products and contents will be free and easy if you integrate your site with a content management system.
