Default Investing in Shares and AAOIFI standards
Assalamu aliakum,

I would like to discuss with anyone who invests in stocks/shares on how they evaluate which stocks they will invest in. This could even apply to retirement plans and mutual funds.

My research into this has shown that a lot of telecommunications companies (cell phone providers, etc.) do not meet the debt level criteria, but they are a favourite for pension funds because of their stability and high dividend yields. I was just wondering if anyone else is looking into this. I would like to discuss more.

Also I am having a difficult time figuring out and separating revenue of gold companies from derivative hedges which are not permissible. If anyone is familiar I would like some pointers. Their debt levels however seem to be at acceptable levels.

JazakAllah.

Assalamua alaikum brother,

I don't get what you are trying to say with the above link. Moreover I am not in UK.

No one invests in shares on this forum?
