I know, Prophet Ibrahim and prophet Mohammad(pbuh) were circumcised. What about Prophet Isa (jesus) pbuh ? was he circumcised? There is no mention in the Bible.

Isa alayhisalam was of Jewish heritage. So that should answer your question.

The Bible is also a Holy Book and parts of it is authentic (from God) and part of it is not.

During the Jesus'

life on earth there was no such thing as a "christian" - He was never crucified, and if someone was crucified in his place is something we do not know for sure - if someone was crucified, they would have been crucified by both jews and pagan romans. Remember, Jesus

was a nabi sent to the the jews of his time who had strayed away from the path of Allah - shortly before his birth the Pharisees got together and decided that Judaism would transform from a Propheticly led religion to a Rabinnacly led religion - they then wrote the Talmud. So Jesus

was raised in a Talmudic Jewish society, unlike previous anbiya sent to Bani Israel. His message to the Jews at that time was basicly to abandon the man made laws of the Talmud. One law jews did not abandon was circumcision - and no uncircumcised person could be counted as a jew or set foot in the temple - Jesus

was considered by the Jews, including Jewish historian Josephus to be "an important Rabbi" - so he was considered a Jew by the Jews, and one way one is confirmed as a jew in talmudic judaism is to have a Rabbi perform a ritual circumcission and confirm the childs Jewish heritage.

So even though the Quran and hadeeth do not mention it, the other evidence surrounding his life leads us to deduce that Jesus

Jewishness was confirmed, and to be confirmed a Jew, one must be circumcised.

Jesus (as) was not a Jew, He followed and preached only Islam with the Guidance of Allah. It would be more accurate to say he was born in a Jewish community. At the time of his birth, the early muslims ie the Bani Israel who were the people of Musa (as) had deviated from Islam so much that they ceased to be Muslims and became Jews. Isa (Jesus) (as) was send to guide them to true Islam by Allah

Yes Isa(as) was circumcised. Since your initial query was whether it was mentioned in the Bible. It is mentioned in the Gospels that Jesus(as) was circumcised.

I don't like quoting the gospels since it was corrupted by men and we do not know which all parts of the original revelation is left. Since you insist :

In the Gospel according to Luke 2:21: And at the end of eight days, when he was circumcised, he was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before he was conceived in the womb."
