can someone please tell me the best and easiest way to stream live audio from a website?

its for an islamic website.

if you mean something like this: http://idauk.org/listen.html then they are few websites and software that you can use. not an expert in this field though

am i right in thinking a PC will have to act as a server for broadcasting the audio -

ie, will a PC have to pick up the audio via a mic and then software on the PC will stream the audio through the website?

any info will be great as i have absolutely no idea how to do this. step by step instructions please!

not an expert so cant say much, but by just scan reading the 2 links i have posted, i think the laptop would be needed when broadcasting live as installing software is involved. when shaikh zulfiqar came 2 months back, the people who were with him carried the long wired mic. and some big box like a recorder thing to broadcast it live. i dont know if you saw it when he came to yorkshire
