Default Passport Tearing at Indian Airports....Read it Carefully.!!!
assalamu alaikum
i just got this mail, may be it is useful to NRI friends

Please note scam in India

Passport Tearing at Indian Airports....Read it Carefully.!!!

Be Careful at the Indian Airports, This is a well organized conspiracy by Indian Immigration, Police, Customs and Air India staff with networking at all the Indian International Airports.. Be careful when ever you give your passport to Immigration/ Customs/Air India staff. The pass port can be easily tampered and can create trouble to you. They have found easy way of making money from NRIs. This is the way it works:

At the time of the passenger's departure, if the passenger is not looking at the officer while he is stamping the exit, the officer very cleverly tears away one of the page from the passport. When the passenger leaves the immigration counter, the case is reported on his computer terminal with full details. Now all over India they have got full details of the passenger with Red Flag flashing on the Passport number entered by the departure immigration officer. They have made their money by doing above.

On arrival next time, he is interrogated.

Subject to the passenger's period of stay abroad, his income and standing etc., the price to get rid of the problem is settled by the Police and Immigration people. If someone argues, his future is spoiled because there are always some innocent fellows who think the honesty is the basis of getting justice in India.

Please advise every passenger to be careful at the airport.

Whenever they hand over the passport to the counters of Air India, or immigration or the customs, they must be vigilant, should not remove eyes from the passport even if the officer in front tries to divert their attention.

Also, please pass this information to all friends, media men and important politicians. Every month 20-30 cases are happening all over India to rob the NRIs the minute he lands.

2 friends of mine had something strange like that happen to them at the Indian embassy. They can be very sketchy, if they start a strange conversation with you, pay close attention to what they are doing with your belongings, the conversation was an attemped to divert the passengers attention in the cases of both of my friends. the guy did not rip any pages from her book as ar as I know, but he damaged some, and then said "your pages are damaged, so I cannot give you a visa". This kind of stuff is sad, it happens in so many countries...

You wait for the guy's shift to end, follow him to his car, and break his arms so he can't do it to anyone else. I'm being serious.

Typical Indian Mushriks. They once stole my grandfather's passport and one lady who was there admitted that it happened many times. What they most likely would have done is then sold the passport and some old guy could easily have impersonated my grandfather and entered the lovely land of England/America or wherever these guys dream of. I have to say that the worst place I have ever stepped my foot in is an Indian embassy full of mushriks.

I'm sure people who have been to Pakistan a few times could relay similar stories....

Xs11ax made a by valid point - the abuse of authority in these countries is ridiculous & the whole experience at airports is a very stressfull one, ESPECIALLY, if you are travelling with women family members.

May Allah give us all hidayah - Ameen.

Actually it's quite common, not just in airports but also train stations, etc.

They also get the people who are newly immigrating to a western country, and don't let them go without getting a bribe. If someone refuses, they have "stuff" in their pockets like drugs etc. that they plant in your luggage and get you in trouble. So most people have no choice.

This happened to us over a decade ago when we were moving to Canada from India.

Things have changed a lot since then.

Nothing has changed. The hindus still burn when they see a Muslim carrying a british or western passport. They purposely cause many problems to Muslims.

This attitude of the muslims towards hindus is the reason why they were kicked out in the first place. More than 850 years rule of muslims in India but there was no concentrated effort towards Dawah to the Hindus.

A few rare examples of Dawah to hindus can be seen in the life of Early sufis like Hadrat Moinuddin Chisti RA [Whom even the Hindus revere].

This issue has been highlighted by Mufti Saeed Khan [D.B]. He says that Islam needs new blood to flourish. (There is a book by Shaykh Abul Hasan Ali Nadwi on this topic aptly titled Naya Khoon - New Blood).

He gave examples of how islam flourished through this infusion of new blood. From Arabs to Persians to Mongols to Turks etc. What potential these Hindus have was realized by Mufti Kifayatullah Dehlavi [RA]. He started travels to all parts of India. He used to eat with these Hindus that to in there plates. He used to drink from the same vessel which the Hindu drank from.

This action of Mufti Sahab impressed the masses. Assessing the outcome and impact of Mufti sahab's efforts, Gandhi arose and he started travels to all the places Mufti Sahab visited. But the learned Muslims were busy in seeking a different State. Mufti Sahab's effort did not materialise as envisioned

so much for now.

Request for duas
