as we all know, the ummah faces so many challenges. Just a quick question, what are the most dire challenges that we face today? Among the major ones that I'm aware of are; - economy - no system in the world that's truly interest free based economic system. Even in the Muslim nations. - political - we don't have a political leader with firm Islamic values who can lead us. All of the Islamic leaders today are somehow have their hands tied directly or indirectly. - knowledge - the Muslims illiteracy rate still is very low. - division among the ummah - well, with no leader, it would be impossible to have a unity. what else? |

the reason I asked the questions was that maybe some of the problems can be analysed and worked on. Another suggestions, we have mods here who are overseeing the forums. How about having several 'amirs' to oversee some of the issues and to provide analysis? We often take 'having no political power' as our biggest obstacle to build a truly Islamic society, but we neglect the power of the masses in so many other issues or opportunities. Even if this effort could only move just one centimetre towards the restoration of the Islamic Caliphate, it's a already a progress. Shouldn't we think about it? |

Assalamu alaykum We can't force other Muslims to sacrifice their time or energy. But to those who want to give some efforts, this might be a good opportunity to have it analysed and we can have something that we can do on a smaller scale. One example of this was how the Muslim Village idea was developed. |
