....that was an interesting read, I have heard Syedna Ali fought and killed Amr bin Abdal Wadd with Al-Zulfiqar during the battle of the trench, there was also a spear that was gifted by the Prophet to Hazrat Zubair Bin Awwam , I think it was named Anza or somthing like it....

Is it a sunnah to keep weapons? From what it seems, it looks to be a constantly acted upon action by the Rasool. So, is it sunnah Muakkadah, ghaykh muakkadah, mustahab, or merely permissible?

I have never seen any of the shaikh with an UZI, so i dont think its a sunnah..
