aoa,

if someone joined the congregational prayer late, at a time while the imam was bowing, and went straight into bowing after takbeer al-ihraam. while bowing he realized he hadnt done takbeer of movement. so he gets up, breaks his prayer and restarts with a new takbeer al-ihraam and then continues his prayer with the imam. and ofcourse he missed that rakah which was made up after the prayer ended.

the salat was broken because of not being truly sure at that moment whether the imam's prayer covered such mistakes. takbeer of movement is wajib however.

my questions is such a salat valid?ive searched quite a bit but havent found the answer.
