Default [Refutation of:] Obscenity (al-Habib's book)
As salaamu 'alaykum,

Yasser al-Habib recently published his book Obscenity: The other side of Aisha and I would like to know if there have been any scholarly refutations of the work or if any are on the way. I'm not interested in refuting rafidhi beliefs but rather, a point-by-point refutation of this book.

May Allah Ta'ala guide these people to the truth or may He destroy them with a total destruction for their slander. Just seeing it makes the blood boil.

There is no benefit in even discussing these things, people have been saying things 1400 years plus, and Islam keeps growing Alhamdulillah. To talk about the filth that people say and write is only a waste of time and giving the filthy people more attention than they need. te same time could be spent in a better way.

wa 'alaykum salaam,

You're right, it only changed the title of my initial post. I've reported my own post and requested they change it to: [Refutation of:] Obscenity (al-Habib's book).

@Ankaboot, I want to know if someone is writing a scholarly refutation of this book. Scholars do write refutations when necessary.

There are many people who have written such books in the past and there are many scholars who refuted them and I am sure someone refuted this book too, but some people are out there who enjoy spending their lives trying to dishonour others specially they like to point fingers at people at the highest status, inshaAllah in the end they will be dishonoured.

I don't see why we need to waste our time with this thread, moderators please delete it.

Wassalamu Alaikum.

If you know the name of someone written a refutation please post it. No one needs to waste their time here debating the book - I thought my initial post made that clear. I'm looking for a specific refutation or news of one being written.

I think there is no need for our scholars to waste precius time in refuting these stupids/nonsense... As Quran itself very clearly refute these pigs and defend Umm ul Momineen(r.a) from their blame in Sura Noor.
