Yes I have BSNL router.I have connected the main cable (which is coming from internet provider) to one one of the port of the router. I took another cable and connected to second port of the router from my computer lan . Then whats next I have to do? 1.Main cable to router. 2.Router to Desktop(computer LAN) Check If you have 'Multiple' Jacks to connect more cables in the router. If yes, What you need is one more of cable No: 2, so that you can connect from Router to Laptop. If no, Check if its a Wi-fi router then connect the laptop wireless through wi-fi Picturization ![]() ![]() |

that would be a modem, had it been a router than ur pc would have been wifi enabled.. @shoib Bhai first activate wi fi in your laptop. Go to my network setting. Make sure u deactivate firewall an antivirus. This is required only for the first time. Open the browser. Go to router settings by typing 192.168.1.1 in the address bar and press enter. Tell me if u r able access the router settings. |
