Default Economic system in islam and economic model used in Khalafat-e-Rashida
can someone give me some good links or recommend some good books on the economic system which was advised by prophet Muhammad pbuh, and the system with some examples of its greatness from the Khalafat-e-rashida,

i am making a new report on how financial, monitary and economic systems should be run and why we need to replace this current system which we have which only takes us throught booms and busts and is a diesaster and how we need a new flawless economic system to replace this one. Therefore i am going to be promoting the economic system which was made by the best monetary reformer, the prohet Muhammad pbuh.

If you manage to achieve this, you should get the next Nobel Prize in Economics.

i doubt the wall street bankers will allow that, but my plan is to start a movement for a proper financial system that benefits the people and we will expose the current financial system and its historty.

Hey its a crime not to try ..." you know the saying". You seem to want to start some major. Go ahead. BUT first float some ideas bro. so we can all contribute. Dont expect others to do it for you and you take all the credit! So lets hear something from you!:

I've always been interested in this as well. Although I've researched Ottoman economics (from which I ended up concluding that they never came up with a decent / "flawless" Islamic economic model) I never thought about looking into the economic system under the Khulafa e Rashideen.
I'll be looking into this, and I would appreciate it if you kept me updated with anything you discover.

i will most probably develop a blog to keep everyone updated,

@Normandic
you will be suprised how many followers there are for this, most people have been slaved to the bankers system but when ever someone takes them on they do get many followers, there were many reformers che guavero, abraham lincoln and still are ron paul, peter schiff, fidel castro.

Salaam,

There are two reason why there is a economic turbulant today: fiat currency + interest

The reason why the U.S. is in power today is because they are in control of printing this paper we call money. The money is backed by absolutely nothing except by the faith of those in power (the Jews) of the Federal Reserve system. When you control the money you control the people, economy, media, etc. At one time in U.S. history money was backed by gold. Gold is a scarce commodity and never really loses it's interensic value. These "toilet papers" which we call money is created out of thin air and have no value. The supply & demand principal is all that is applied to it.

Interest based economies keep people in debt and that's why we are seeing such things as home foreclosures. Being in debt is almost like you're a slave fighting for your freedom.

It's no wonder that Allah swt says in the Quran that we should not take interest.

Most empires in history fell because of debt problems and most incurred these 5 stages (below).

There are 5 Stages of Collapse

Stage 1: Financial collapse. Faith in "business as usual" is lost. The future is no longer assumed resemble the past in any way that allows risk to be assessed and financial assets to be guaranteed. Financial institutions become insolvent; savings are wiped out, and access to capital is lost.

Stage 2: Commercial collapse. Faith that "the market shall provide" is lost. Money is devalued and/or becomes scarce, commodities are hoarded, import and retail chains break down, and widespread shortages of survival necessities become the norm.

Stage 3: Political collapse. Faith that "the government will take care of you" is lost. As official attempts to mitigate widespread loss of access to commercial sources of survival necessities fail to make a difference, the political establishment loses legitimacy and relevance.

Stage 4: Social collapse. Faith that "your people will take care of you" is lost, as local social institutions, be they charities or other groups that rush in to fill the power vacuum run out of resources or fail through internal conflict.

Stage 5: Cultural collapse. Faith in the goodness of humanity is lost. People lose their capacity for "kindness, generosity, consideration, affection, honesty, hospitality, compassion, charity" (Turnbull, The Mountain People). Families disband and compete as individuals for scarce resources. The new motto becomes "May you die today so that I die tomorrow" (Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago). There may even be some cannibalism.

It's been almost a year since your intention. Is there any updates?

No working real system can be flawless. We human beings are imperfect and any systen managed by us will have flaws.
