![]() عن أبي سعيد الخدري رضي الله عنه قال : سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول : ( من رأى منكم منكرا فليغيره بيده ، فإن لم يستطع فبلسانه ، فإن لم يستطع فبقلبه ، وذلك أضعف الإيمان ) رواه مسلم "If one of you sees something wrong, let him change it with his hand; if he cannot, then with his tongue; if he cannot, then with his heart and this is the weakest faith." Why is it that we always act on the weakest part of Iman? Many times it happens that we have strength to stop a wrong but we don't do it. The worst thing is that, instead of accepting our own weakness of Iman, we try to prove it as Hikmah. One example which we find all around us is when a person turns towards deen, everyone tries to stop him by force. But when a person does wrong things, the same would now bring in hikmah and will tell you don't force him to do anything. Another example is that of ta'addud. If a person, like your son, husband, father, brother wants to get a second wife, all hell will break loose. Everyone will start opposing him and they will do their utmost to stop him from doing it. Everyone knows what happens, no need to elaborate. But when the same person does Zina, everyone will be quiet and remember hikmat. Even the Shaikh who told the wife to stop her husband from getting a second wife, would tell the same wife to remain quiet, make dua, advise the husband politely, read this wazeefah to stop him from Zina. The wife will not make a big hangama on this matter. There are many examples of this. Do we ever stop to ponder that we are living in the state of the weakest Iman and the next wave could make our wall fall down? ![]() |
