Dear brothers and sisters,
This is Khan and I am very new to this forum. I am here to discussing complicated issues [with no offence to anyone] in the light of AlQuraan. Please note: I don't believe in any Hadith but the Quraan. I am saying this because I don't want to hide it with you and it will be easy and open discussion, inshaAllah. I am only interested to discuss any matter but in the light of AlQuraan only. Please, I request the responders to stick to this rule. I believe that most important issue to discuss is "'ati Allah wa 'ati alRasool". I respect all views on this topic. May Allah increase us in knowledge and guide us all to His true path mmkhan |

![]() Thank you for your reply but I think you missed my point. I said we will extract the meaning from the aayaats of AlQuraan [if possible] instead of tafseers, because tafaseer also includes human personal understanding. So, we will try to avoid using it at the moment and look at the usage of it in other places in AlQuraan, inshaAllah. May Allah guide us all to His true path mmkhan |

![]() On the contrary, Just like you accept the wording in qur'an as a historical fact, so are these wording of tafseer historically written on the manuscript. No interpretation or understanding of the words of Qur'an would satisfy anyone. Hence we only accept the interpretation available with similar historic authentication as the way of Quranic verses. Once we realize that, then the rest is simple. Please see the other discussion about the hadith being done by a few of your web-forum and try to understand this point. Once you come on par with the hadith, then the interpretation given by the prophet himself is secondry to qur'an itself. Thereafter the understanding of the sahaba etc. But, carry on and explain these words with quran itself, without any explanation from yourself. ![]() |

Salaam brothers,
InshaAllah, I will try to explain what I mean. It is said اَطِیۡعُوا اللّٰہَ وَ اَطِیۡعُوا الرَّسُوۡلَ 24:54 That means "Obey Allah and obey the Messenger" What could be the possible reason for using the word "AlRasool [the Messenger]" and why not.. Obey Allah and obey AlNabi [the Prophet]? Obey Allah and obey Mohammed? If it would have said "Obey Allah and obey Mohammed" that would be very clear and straight forward to understand but this is not the case. That means there is a proper reason behind it that we have to understand. Hope you get my point, inshaAllah. May Allah guide us all to His true path mmkhan |

Allah refers to him as: "Those who follow the Messenger, the Ummiyy (unlettered) prophet whom they find written with them in the Torah and the Injīl" (7:157), so rasool and nabi have been used in the same verse. But brother we are discussing about "Obeying AlRasool" not "Following AlRasool", as you know there is a difference between "atioo [obey] and 'itteba' [follow] May Allah guide us all to His true path mmkhan |
