I believe Jesus was but a Prophet, and that the last Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon both of them) came to confirm the Oneness of God.
We recognise all books that were sent down to Christians and Jews, but were altered. Many Christians in fact secretly don't understand the trinity in Christianity and it's only up to them to accept their errors, God invites to Truth. May God open their hearts to Submission to Him (=Islam). As advised, feel free to read translations of the Qur'an. |

![]() Muhammad(pbuh) was known for telling the truth. Even before he started to receive the message, the people called him "Al-Amin"(the honest/truthful). He performed many miracles. He came and presented the same message as Jesus and Moses and never claimed to be anything beyond a man who is the Prophet and Messenger of the one true God. |

I welcome the initiator of the thread to SunniForum. I hope he finds it beneficial
To answer your actual question, I would like to link two articles to you, both logically explaining that the Quran HAS to be the Word of God. The first is here: http://www.theinimitablequran.com/uniquelitform.pdf The second is here: http://hamzatzortzis.blogspot.com/20...niqueness.html Now, this proves without a doubt that the Quran is the Word of God. There are also arguments but this should suffice. I would like to hear your feedback and once this discussion is resolved, I would like to know what proof you yourself have that the Bible is God's Word. But first let's concentrate on Quran ![]() |

Check out this site it has evidence and facts to prove that the Qur'an is the Truth.
http://www.islamreligion.com "firstly, to make up the Quran that is followed by 1.6 billion people on earth, it takes up unimaginable and impossible wisdom, which is not possible in the case of Prophet Muhammad(S.A.W) to the least, because he could not read and write. Secondly, Quran talks about scientific miracles, that were impossible for any one to know at that time Thirdly, Quran talks about historical facts that have been recently known to man fourthly, the language of the Quran is so elequent that it is impossible for anyone to have made it up." |

Even before he started to receive the message, the people called him "Al-Amin"(the honest/truthful). they could call him whatever they wanted. That does not constitute evidence at all. Many other religion founders are called so as well...... He performed many miracles. There are many people, performing miracles as well...... even today.
He came and presented the same message as Jesus and Moses
that is definitively NOT true. Jesus said, the father send him to die on the cross for the sins of all humanity. Did Muhammad confirm this ? and never claimed to be anything beyond a man who is the Prophet and Messenger of the one true God. Anyone can call himself so. Even the flying Spaghetti Monster. Some better, hard evidence on hand ? |

Check out this site it has evidence and facts to prove that the Qur'an is the Truth. "firstly, to make up the Quran that is followed by 1.6 billion people on earth, If we go just upon numbers, christianity in general has more followers..... why are you not a christian ? it takes up unimaginable and impossible wisdom, which is not possible in the case of Prophet Muhammad(S.A.W) to the least, because he could not read and write. That does not make him less smart...... Where i live, there are people, that cannot write, but are amongst the richest people of my state. Secondly, Quran talks about scientific miracles since when is a miracle scientific ? , that were impossible for any one to know at that time what exactly did they not ne able to know ? Thirdly, Quran talks about historical facts that have been recently known to man No kidding ? there are many historical books, that do that as well. fourthly, the language of the Quran is so elequent that it is impossible for anyone to have made it up." how do you know ? |

Fullfilled evidence is always evidence a prophet told the truth. There are many prophecies in the bible , that already fullfilled, even in our days. Where are the fullfilled prophecies of quran ? About Quran and Bible; a. Regarding prophesies in the New Testament and Old Testament. Muslims believe the New Testament and Old Testament were originally Words of God before it's been altered by humans. Nowadays nobody knows which part was altered and which are still in its original form. About Prophet Muhamad ![]() ![]() Can you possibly have a coherent narration with what you've got? It's impossible, right? And Quran was revealed little by little over the 23 years period. And see for yourself how much your narrations are different from the Quran. Why? Because; - as a human, when we write something down, it's impossible for us to dissociate our narrations from our emotions. Can you find something like this in the Quran? Prophet Muhamad ![]() Also why the narration styles are totally different from Quran and hadiths? b. Quran is promised by Allah ![]() ![]() Can the same thing be said about Bible? Prophesies Recent events. As for prophesies, you'll be astounded as the accuracies of the events unfolding as told in Quran and also hadith. Enemy of Allah will be spending huge amount of money to overcome Islam, but they will fail. See at what happened in Iraq and Afghanistan. Every time a newer IED comes out, the US and Allies forces have to upgrade the whole set of armours, and every new batch will cost taxpayers billions. And the US will spend more. Do you know that Quran correctly addresses the ruler of Egypt before Pharaoh as King, whereas Bible failed at that? There are many of these examples and you can see it on youtubes, especially from our brothers who reverted from christianity. - Do you know that Islam has five phases altogether? The first phase is Prophethood (Muhammad ![]() ![]() - Do you know that the war in Afghanistan has already been foretold by our Prophet ![]() - Abyan Eden in Yemen. 12,000 Muslim army will come out of Abyan Eden to help liberate Muslim cities from the enemy. Those are just about the recent events. There are a few more hadiths related to the above events but that's a different topic altogether. How about other ones; - Parents will give birth to their masters. - Women will wear clothes but still naked. - Bribes will be considered as gifts. - Interest based economy will be global that even if a person tried so hard to not get involved in it, the 'dust' from the system will still affect him/her. - Crimes will be rampant. The killer wouldn't know why he/she killed a person, and the victim wouldn't know why he/she was killed. - Naked, destitute, barefoot shepherds will compete in building tall buildings. [The modern ex-nomads of Saudi Arabia are an excellent example of this.] - The worldly wealth will be in abundance in the Arab peninsula. - Earthquakes will increase. - Time will pass more quickly. and many more. The question is, why wouldn't it happen NOT according to the signs foretold by the Prophet ![]() |

hi The Christian belief that God became a man is severely flawed. They would say God is perfect, then would say He became a man. A man has flaws (imperfect sight, hearing), limitations (physical stature, strength), and needs (sleep, food, etc). Also, saying God became something else, means that God was not perfect in the first place, and became something else. A change in state is not perfection. Christians also believe God is in paradise. This is also flawed as it places God in a location. This entails God is limited by a location and also is a certain size, which is equivalent to idol worship and means God is not perfect. The book of Genesis also states God created and then 'slept'. This is another weaknees, namely a need. There are several other problems with Christianity, which seems to be based on 'you just have to believe, don't question it.' The Muslim belief is logical, and is based on reason, not merely 'blind faith'. The Muslim belief is that God is perfect. He did not become a man. Jesus (peace be upon him) was a messenger of God who performed miracles. We believe God exists without a place, as places are creations and God is the Creator of all things--as placing the Creator in a location would make Him limited and weak as I explained earlier. We do not believe God 'sleeps/slept', we do not believe God changes His 'state', as these are all weaknesses. The holy book of Islam, the Qur'an mentions many things that have only recently been discovered such as the preservation of Pharoah's body (discovered only about 120 years ago), the expansion of the universe (discovered only about 80 years ago), the origins of creation (which is similar to the Big Bang) for a few examples. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was a righteous and truthful man who also performed many miracles such as splitting the moon in half and having water gush through his hands to satiate an army. These were witnessed and documented by many people. We believe that God sent Prophets (Adam, Moses, Jesus for a few examples, peace be upon them all) that told mankind to worship the One True God, but mankind gradually went against this message and the true message became lost/corrupted (i.e. present Judaism, Christianity for examples), and that God sent Muhammad (peace be upon him) as the last messenger to remind mankind again to worship the One True God. These are a few reasons why my faith is very secure. It logically makes sense, scientifically makes sense, and we have miraculous proofs from the Qur'an and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) life that prove Muhammad (peace be upon him) was a messenger of God. |
