has anyone heard of this anonymous group supposedly with members around the world named Anonymous
they have many many videos on youtube.
(i remember someone posting a video of them in the past on this forum)

if someone who knows what Anonymous are all about, could you shed some light on them

Anonymous is a group of internet hackers, who want freedom of speech. They are completely against censorship. Recently they were in the limelight by supporting wikileaks, when they hacked paypal and websites of other companies which helped the american government to stop the funding of wikileaks. They had also hacked a number of Malaysian govt website accusing them of censorship.

They are just a bunch of vandals and vigilantes, trying to revive anarchism. Nothing worthy. Sometimes its amusing when they become a nuisance for American govt and Big corporate companies.
