have you tried using skype before? Calling skype to skype is free, you can also do video calls as well as voice and text typing. However you can also use it to call skpe to a mobile phone or landlines really cheap to. Don't quote me on this but I think it might be cheaper to use skype than any other service. I'm sure someone else who has experience using skype in this way can correct me if I am wrong ^^.

I think you can make calls on skype after buying a calling card or something. If both parties are online then the call is free ofcourse.

we used this so called voip phone from time to time for almost nearly 7 years. For some country to certain country, it's free, like us, from UK (using internet) to Malaysia land line is free. after 40 calls you just put deposit of 10 euro and that money won't be use unless we used to call to country that are no include in free or mobile phone. But, from UK to US not just land line , but mobile phone also free. Anyone in the UK to call europe, ireland, US , australia and many other country can save lots by using this. Now they also had an application in mobile phone. Or if you got free minutes, , they had access number you can used from your mobile free minutes to make a call.

I am not sure from India to saudi, but we used to call saudi from Uk using this. I think there are caj from India to saudi, but they got a good price. As the other said, you can always use skype.

You'v even phone to phone also, once you'v bought credit from them n provided in the country call is originated they'v this service available, can be checked from their website. Most of them having free calls to landlines in most of Europe, US, canada, developed countries in Asia, and very low rates for calls to mobiles.
Frthr to 2 providers mentioned in one of the posts, you can also check rates at www.smartvoip.com and www.megavoip.com
As to audio quality of the calls, depends on quality of yr internet connection.
