Fitnah (trial) of today is money. People are doing all types of evils just for sake of money. Except few righteous people in the whole world, everyone has become a dog for money.

Today, almost all money is being controlled by Yahoodi bankers and almost all the businesses are running on usury, so higher dogs are ruling over lower dogs.

I realized this almost 2 or 3 years back and to my surprise, Prophet (sws) also said this.

Every nation has its fitnah (trial or temptation), and the fitnah of my ummah is wealth.

(Reported by al-Tirmidhi, 2336; Saheeh al-Jaami’, 2148).

Note: As far as message is concerned, all people after Muhammad (sws) fall in his Ummah, because no more new prophet will ever come after him.

yes i agree.. the love of wealth is a dangerous thing.. the awareness of the issue of riba in the general ummah especially is worrying, many people are unaware or choose to stay ignorant that it is a major sin..
