![]() 1. I have a book called Duas for the Contentment of the Heart which was given to me by a Jamati sister. Among other Surahs etc it contains 99 names of Allah and also has certain "prescriptions" for example: Anyone who recites Ya-Wadud 1000 times and blows on food and such food is consumed by him and his wife together, their differences and disputes will be settled, inshaAllah. Are such recitations permissible? 2. I have read many times about reciting certain ayah or Allah's name a certain number of times, is there a hadith reference for these recommendfations? How are they derived? 3. Is ********* a authentic website. For example it says: "For the safety of child and mother during pregnancy, and no miscarriage, write a portion of verse 64 of Yusuf and verse 8 of ar Rad with saffron and bind it as a tawid around the belly or abdomen of the mother". Is this permissible? I apologize for asking so many questions, but I would really appreciate your help and understanding in this matter. ![]() |
