 Permissible to Wear Lacoste?
Assalamu Alaykum
Is it permissible to wear Lacoste clothing? The logo is a picture of an crocodile. Is this seen as image-making? Heres the logo http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lacoste |

Salam Aleykum,
I've heard from a Fiqhi source (that might be Maliki) that if the picture is too small, like the size of a coin then you can wear it and pray with it. Awaiting verification incha-Allah. |

 why would you want to wear Lacoste clothing anyway. You are imitating the Kuffar and are losing your islamic identity. The best course would be to abstain from anything which is doubtful especially when there are so many other islamic garments out there which you could choose from.

I am not a scholar so this is no fiqhi answer...this is a fashion answer. Lacoste is old, boring and plain. I wont limit it to the clothing - the cologne is probably the most nauseating scent I have ever smelled. Stay away from this product, waste of money. As for Fusus, I only wear shirts with this logo on the top left pocket:  lol |
