Since I got to know that, even if you Don't utter offensive words against someone at his/her back, but 'Listen to' still It will be counted in backbiting.

Alhamdulillah I try not to go that way, but finding it difficult to Stop friends/family. so what should I do?

1. Should Leave the Place.

2. Be enough serious there, so that they get to know, she is uncomfortable with the talk, or at least if they don't Stop, I wont be accountable for that bites?

3. Take side of that person whom is been targeted (I do this one) even they don't agree ... still I will be accountable for that sin?

4. Tell them, I had made Thouba, please change the Topic....?

5. Stay Silent?

6. Stopping your Mother/aunt from Gheebat with showing respect and love will be counted in her Disrespect?

7. OR I am getting it so serious????? I shouldn't Think in that much deep? after all Allah is all Merciful?

Brother best advice I can give would be to stick some earphones into your ears. Then click on a surah or Nasheed which you like then crank up the volume.

Watch out it might give you ear ache though.
