![]() I'd recommend using a little bit of oil on the beard. make sure you do not grow it extra long as it is the way of the najdi and has been described in ahadith as najdi appearance ![]() |

As-salaamu-alaikum,
A method for taming an unruly beard, that i've found effective, is that one should shampoo one's beard often, adding conditioner every other day - this can be done while showering. After a shower, pat your beard dry and comb it, as this is when the beard is most easy to manipulate. Thereafter some oil like amla/jojoba/coconut oil can be added to your beard (remembering to recite bismillah and starting on the right side!), and re-combed thereafter. Your beard is left smooth, soft, and with a gentle shine... |
