I heard from my ustadh that Shakhul Islam has been told he will be killed. The government has provided

Him with bodyguards. Altaf Hussain's name came in as well. Any more info?

well, this has been going on for ages. We are unable to protect great scholars . There had been so many big names, which are not in this world now.

I met him the monday before last..there was only 1 guard sitting on the left of the driving seat and nothing special..it all seemed very normal!

wrwb, I urge every concerned Muslim to pray for Mufti Saheb db (and all ulema e huqq) and give Sadqah to stave off the danger.

I was informed this wednesday, it must have been a recent threat. Allah save Shaykhul Islam.

My ustadh,Shaykh (HA) said : If he was to be killed, It would be a great loss to the ummah, compared if someone like me was to die. As Muftisahib is doing a lot of khidmah.

We should remember that without an explicit proof of a matter to make such a claim boldly in open is a bhutan and a lie. Moreover, it is also the sin of spreading rumors.
If we are really concerned then we should make dua sincerely from the depth of our hearts.

If these claims are indeed true, then know that Allah

provides more protection than a few bodyguards could ever provide. If Allah

wishes harm upon someone than the whole of the creation can't stop it from happening and If Allah

wishes goodness for someone the whole of the creation can't harm that person. Please don't misunderstand me, Mufti Taqi Usmani should have bodyguards since. If these claims are false than we are treading in very dangerous territory considering that spreading rumors is a sin not to be taken lightly.

As for the original topic, i think it was more threatening in the beginning (in this Ramadhan). Then it got better a bit later.. Wallahu A'lam.

Anyways, Lets keep on making du'aa for Mufti Sahib and all other such assets of this Ummah.
