![]() i heard that hazrat abdur-rehman bin auf (ra) din't call prophet SAW on his waleema (reception) and the prophet SAW din't know about his waleema. Several days later, prophet SAW noticed some change in his behavior and asked him, " have you got married ? " . Abdur-rehman bin auf (ra) replied yes with a smile. Then the prophet SAW (also smiled) and gave him dua and blessings. First of all, if there is any mistake in the above para , please correct it. Secondly, i would like to know why din't abdur-rehman bin auf (ra) called Prophet AS. I'm sure there are lots of lessons to be learned from this incident. One of them being, that prophet AS wasn't sad/angry about his companion not calling him on his waleema (reception) and instead gave him dua's. Nowadays, we see people complaining/shouting/crying if they are not called to any function. Some people also complain about not getting the V.I.P treatment they deserved ! Such were the Akhlaaaq of our beloved prophet SAW. |

actually i heard that there were quite a few nikaah's performed in this way (that the prophet salallahu-alaihi-wasallam and other sahaaba were'nt even aware that one of their comanions got married)... it must have been soo simple, stress-free and beautiful! And yes, less people = less khichkhich |

If its about other people , its fine. The sahaba's loved prophet SAW to the extreme. and still not calling him. In no way, i mean that the sahabi has done something wrong. Who am i to point a finger at the sahaba's of Prophet SAW. But what i want to know is , what were the lessons/hikmah for the ummat in this. |
