It is true that for the most part Ron Paul is fair and balanced. Comparing him to Obama isn't correct since everyone could tell that whilst there was HOPE that Obama may slightly change US domestic and foreign policy, he never promised anything the likes of which Ron Paul promises. It is for this reason that Obama could get elected and for this exact reason that Paul will not win any election whatsoever. The man is too reasonable and not morally deficient enough to become President, and hence, the media, his fellow politicians and other members of the elite will never get behind him and if he does not have their backing, he can't win. Stop dreaming about Ron Paul, if you want to dream about something, then dream of Khilafah,

Democracy is HARAM, and voting is SHIRK. We as Muslims are forbidden to engage in anything (including politics) if it contradicts Shari'ah. Voting in elections where the choices consist of MAN MADE laws, is haram. Man made laws are made by the People, for the People, and is based on the desires of the majority of the people. The majority of the people in the "advanced west" think it's okay for people to dress immodestly, commit adultery, commit blasphemy, to be against all forms of religion, and to criticise Islam (as we often see in the west).
