Default Jehovah's witnesses

Hope you all receive this in the best of health and Imaans inshaALLAH ta'ala

I've a quick question on Jehovah witness's.

From the past few weeks, and before that I have been getting Jehovah witness's knocking on my door, not that I mind because spreading peace is all good and from all walks of life. However I would like to give them dawah on Islam also, I understand alittle on our Religion, but find when I speak it comes out all foreign, which neither of us understand, (like it sounded better in my head kinda thing)

If I can get a few simple thoughts on this it would be greatly appreciated!

JazakAllah kahir may Allah's peace and mercy be on us all Ameen

Things to note:

(1) They believe in a lesser "god", note that "God" and "god" in ENGLISH have two different meanings.
(2) They follow the Protestant Bible, which has 7 less books in the Old Testament than compared to Catholics.
(3) They believe only 144,000 of them are going to heaven, rest have to be judged, before entry.
(4) They believer God's' real name is Jehova.

Easy points to shatter their baatil with:

(1) This "lesser god", does not exist contextually in the Aramaic/ Hebrew Language, this is English specific, thus their doctrine is logically flawed.
(2) Quran 2:79 is proven true, when looking at 2 Timothy 3:16, if all scripture is God breathed, then why do Catholics have the 7 extra books in their Old Testament? Tobias, Wisdom of Solomon , Judith, Ecclesiasticus, Baruch, 1 and 2 Maccabees (handly Christian link disproving these books: http://lavistachurchofchrist.org/LVa...holicBooks.htm)

(3) Revelations 14:4, their are millions of JW's, if so, and according to what this says, how do we know for sure if they're going to heaven, when Quran assures us? Quran 2:2-5.
(4) Jehova is en english word, J the letter does not exist in Hebrew and Aramaic, its closest equivalent is "Y". How can Jehova be his real name, if the letters supposedly traced back to the original language never existed?
(5) Why does God have a council with other Gods? Psalms 82, thus why should we follow your God who depends on other Gods?
(6) Quran 112, akin to Mark 12:29, therefore how can you have a lesser God?
(7) Why judge me when your chances of going to hell are far greater? Matthew 7:1-6.
(8) Do you follow the 613 laws of Moses verfied by Jesus? Matthew 5:17-20, or are you a Pauline who follows what Paul said about the law being fulfilled, that it is complete and within you, so that you need not do it, yet in Matthew 7:21-23, Jesus says those who SPEAK and do not PRACTISE the law, like the Pharisees will never gain heaven.

Feel free to ask more questions.
Allahu Alam, Fee Amanillah.

Asalaam alaikum, as a former Jehovah's Witness, may I say a few things, and clarify a point or two. They do not believe that Jesus's name is Jehovah, according to them that is God's Name. They do believe that Jesus is Michael the archangel in heaven, that being his name prior to being born on earth. The 144,000 are those "born again" and the other millions of Jehovah's Witnesses will live on earth after being judged worthy.

With regard to present the Truth of Islam to them, you must prove Islam from the Bible, and show various contradictions in the writtings of their leaders, known as the governing body. This is not easy, I didn't leave Jehovah's Witnesses for Islam, I left because of years of inconsistant teaching and actual rebellion against he Bible, and the blasphamy of worshiping Jesus. Points of disagreement with Christianity as a whole are the trinity doctrine, which they deny, and that the soul live on after death. The best way I've found to present the Truth of Islam to anyone, is live a good Muslim life, and showing kindness and concern, and unlike them,do not browbeat them with the Quran, but simply present it to them simply and truthfully, this speaks volumes of ways our learning will never give. Mostly, pray for them, asking Allah to guide them.
Salam.

I also have countless Jehovah's knocking at my doors almost every weekend.I have some Islamic literature that I would give to them when they offer me their booklets.I'm clueless at times what to say to them so I just ignore the knocks lol.

I also have an uncle (dad's brother from a different mum)who grew up muslim but later became a Jehovah witness after his mum was divorced. The debates my family would have with him when it came to religion was rather interesting to listen to, but he is so adamant in his ways and both him and his family stayed away from us Muslim relatives.Alhumdulillah within the last few years he visits us yearly and would stay at our homes,we try our best to do their iqraam and be good to them,InshaAllah some day Allah swt will guide them back to Islam.

Once he was giving my dad dawah and I sat there amazed at what he was saying,it's like because he knows about Islam he knows exactly what to say. I wish he was a muslim as he is a really nice uncle,May Allah grant them Hidayah aameen.

The best way I've found to present the Truth of Islam to anyone, is live a good Muslim life, and showing kindness and concern, and unlike them,do not browbeat them with the Quran, but simply present it to them simply and truthfully, this speaks volumes of ways our learning will never give. Jehovahs witness is like Mormonism. Biggest pile of garbage you can come up with. Its not even a religion, its a cult, whose desperately sad believers have been misguided and manipulated by their elite.

Go to
http://www.missionislam.org/comprel/jehovah.htm
http://www.jamaat.net/comp/jw/jw.html

I am sorry to hear about that uncle. Unfortunately he is now a murtad. Pray that Allah (swt) guides him to the straight path. Try to increase your knolwedge regarding both his Jehovahs Witness garbage and also strong knowledge of the Quran and Sunnah to refute him. I think the problem for example is when you KNOW that there is so much within Islam that could trash what he says you just have studied it and arent a Zakir Naik to give quick references by chapter and sura lol. Also despite their garbage beliefs you need to know plenty about Jehovahs witnessess and most dont know much about them. At least try, for murtads if they die as murtads have been guaranteed Hell by Allah (swt).

This is because they love this world's life more than the hereafter, and because Allah does not guide the unbelieving people.

On one occasion at Speakers' Corner in Hyde Park, one of my friends was discussing Tawheed with a Christain who was attempting to (and as always, quite poorly too I might add) defend the Trinity. Unlike other Christains, Jehovah's don't believe in the Trinity so my friend approached one of them and told him that one of the Christians is propogating the doctrine of the Trinity and claims that anyone who does not believe in it is not a Christain, so the Jahovah guy marched up to the other Christian, shocked us all by pulling out one of Shaykh Ahmad Deedat's (rahmatullahialayh) books and then refuted him with the book right there and then! That was a sight to behold I can assure you of that. We laughed about it all the way home.

yes, it's similar to showing any Christian that

Jesus pbuh prayed and he prostrated, like muslims. Christians don't.
Jesus pbuh fasted just like muslims. Christians dont.
Jesus pbuh didn't drink wine, just like muslims. Christians drink
Jesus pbuh didn't eat pork, just like muslims. Christians enjoy pork.
Jesus pbuh gave to charity, just like muslims. Christians aren't obligated to charity.

as well as him wearing a thobe, having a beard.

So if he was to come back now, who would he say were his followers? Muslims or Christians????

Watch the look on their face when you show them this.

May Allah SWT guide them.

Ok so do I need to film their reaction, because I'm going to find it hard concentrating after saying all that, I do like what Br. qwerty88 and Br.Marco short to the point.

My other brothers and sisters have given me more information on the religion, tbu which I know nothing about... I ask them however one question, Do they believe in resurrection? and they replied in the affirmative, but the World will return to it's former glory and they will be residing in it as of before. Which I thought hmmm alittle bland, I would so not like to live in this world, it's too expensive and everything is taxed apart from the air (for now)!! lol

LOL, that reminds me my lecturer said he had a Muslim friend who kept long hair and a beard while studying in the USA (it was 1970s), one day he posed for a photo in front of one picture of "Jesus" and it looked just like him!

LOL!

Is there a PDF for this someone can share?

We also have a problem with their regular visits and arguing.

Is it as literal as that? Did the Sahabah (ra) practice on it this way? How would the verse on no compulsion on religion reconcile with this narration?
