Default Facial Hair
As-salamu alaikum

I don't get strong facial hair. The only bit of facial hair that I have is on my chin and mustache; and it doesn't look a real beard. Nothing grows on my cheeks. I am wondering what should I do with the little of facial hair that I have on my chin. It isn't a real beard. It takes long for it to grow and even then it is not strong. What would the Islamic ruling be?

Famous scholars have faced a similar problem to yourself. I do not know what the Islamic ruling would be, all I can give is the general advice which I try to follow, the more knowledgeable people here will give the proper rulings. I would say is look to your heart, to your intentions, make sure they are honourable, and grow what you can of your beard for the love of the Prophet sws and Allah swt. This is general advice which applies to all of us, including me.
And if people criticise your beard without knowing you or your intentions, for not being a 'real' beard, know it is a sickness in their heart, not in yours.

You don't really have to do anything, brother; just avoid trimming whatever sprout from your face (jawbones area) unless it's over one fist lenght.
If it doesn't arrive to that lenght, it's not your fault; your responsability is just to avoid shaving/trimming your beard.
