Is the Durud mandatory in Salah, or is it a recommended dua? What do we mean by "the family of Muhammad" and "the family of Abraham" ? Is it their literal blood descendants? Or does it mean the followers, successors and people of the same religion as those two prophets?
Also, is ربنا لك الحمد “Rabbanā wa lak al-ḥamd”? If so, why is the extra wāw not written in Arabic? |

Aal e Ibrahim عليه السلام means his Blood descendants, same with ال محمد OR It means: كل نقي تقي فهو ال - Every pure and pious person is Aal. Also, is ربنا لك الحمد “Rabbanā wa lak al-ḥamd”? If so, why is the extra wāw not written in Arabic? Please check this thread. http://www.sunniforum.com/forum/show...ost#post657948 |
