Default Pray using āyat al-nūr?
I would like to do ṣalāh using the āyat al-nūr. If I understand correctly, I don't have to memorize and recite the entire sūrat al-nūr, but I can use 3 or more āyāt? What mini-bundle of āyāt are normally used for those who want to pray with āyat al-nūr? Maybe http://quran.com/24/34-38

Or is 24:35 long enough that I can use it alone as the recitation after surat al-fatihah?

That is correct, you don't have to recite the entire Surah. Three short ayaat are sufficient or one long ayah. In this case, the ayah is long enough that you can recite it alone in one rak'ah.

What mini-bundle of āyāt are normally used for those who want to pray with āyat al-nūr? Maybe http://quran.com/24/34-38 Many times people and Imams recite from 35-38 but you don't have to.

Are there other long and well-loved single ayat such as ayat al-kursi and ayat al-nur that are commonly used in salah?
