Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has strongly condemned the barbarous and inhuman attack on the pilgrims’ bus in Mastung resulting in the death of innocent people. In a statement issued from the Central Secretariat of the party in Islamabad, Imran Khan blamed the government for its failure to check frequent terrorist, ethnic and sectarian killings in the country. He further said that the government was complicit in these acts and was left with no constitutional, legal and moral rationale to continue. It should, therefore, resign immediately paving the way for transparent elections in the country and the induction of a government that would bring peace back to Pakistan. He condoled with the families of those who lost their lives and prayed that God grant them courage to bear the irreparable loss. . Central Media Cell Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf 051-2270744 |

Dear Brothers Assalaamoalaikum
Why do we blame politicians? No doubt, they are supposed to see to it that people do not do such crimes, and punish those responsible for same. But when it comes to sunnis and shiites, what are our Ullama supposed to do? In fact, is it not the sunni Ullama in this case who are responsible for such crimes. Do they applaud when shiites are bombed, are killed in cold blood? Do they reprimand those who are guilty of such crimes OR do they applaud? The Government has its part of responsibility - as far as protecting the population is concerned, BUT the Ullama are those responsible for such actions. Brotherly yours farook |
