Taliban have wisdom akhi.

So you all agree that it should not be allowed in a good society. But what about the sunnah? Isn't it sunnah to have a sword/gun in your house?

I think a person should have at least some sort of weapon in the house. Even something like a bb gun, or a machete, or even pepper spray. Perhaps it depends where you live. In Canada I hardly saw the need, but in South Africa, it's best to have something around.

Asalamu Alaykum.

Please say wether you are for or against guns.

Guns in Europe - Yes or No ? Howcome?
Guns in USA - Yes or No ? Howcome?
Guns in Arabic countries - Yes or No ? Howcome?
Guns in Islamic Caliphate - Yes or No ? Howcome?

I wanna know why.
Depends on the intention of the gunowner surely? .... Since a hunter might need a gun for hunting animals ... A person may also need a weapon for self defense these days since you need to defend yourself against "abusers of guns"

I liken it to whether to own a knife ... a knife can be used in a kitchen or it can be used to attack somebody ... so a gun should be allowed, there should rather be proper justice against the "abusers of guns"

Similarly, is it harmful to own a bow and arrow since its a derivative of a gun? (think crossbow for modern times)
