Default Salat al-Jumu`ah mandatory for men?
Where does the ruling that Friday congregation is mandatory for men but optional for women come from? Is it from the Qur'an or Sunnah?

Does it come directly from the Qurʾān or Sunnah that it's mandatory for men and optional for women? Or is that something that later scholars established by consensus?
