Default Something about drinking water
My father often advises me that when I go out on safar, I should take water from home. When the water is about to finish (and some still left in the container) during safar, I should get it refilled. This would prevent my stomach from getting upset. Is there any hadith, or quote by some caliph that supports this?

Try Islam Question and Answer site. Good for Quran and Ahadeeth questions.

Great it's not letting me paste the link here, just google it.

This is not hadith related. It's common sense! You can upset your stomach by change of water, so he advises you to take it from home which you are used to.
