op is not talking nonsense but he is disrepecting Allah's deen, his Rasul , and respectful wives of nabi .

yeah. true. i dd apologise for this statement, however dont you think "nonsense" is a mild word to use with someone who disrespects Allahs deen, rasoolullah salallahu-alaihiwasallam and his honourable wives??? just a thought sis... i can be wrong - often am! lol.

Why are people insulting the brother instead of answering the question in a proper way?

This forum should be a muslim where EVERY single person can ask questions to improve their knowledge of Islam. If people feel that they cannot ask those questions, then we are lost. YES we should love the Prophet sws more than ourselves, so please, lets remember the Sunnah as well and be patient/sabr!

On a personal note, if i felt unable to ask a question here. I would probably google it. and there are 100 anti muslim sites for every 1 muslim site. It's Shaitan's playground.
Let this be OUR fortress, OUR stronghold.

Yet the OP could've been a young poster who is curious and knows no better, or a new Muslim very new to the history of Rasulullah SAW (and don't forget how much anti-Islam propaganda out there doing its dirty deed). My point is, wouldn't it better if we fully give out explanation to his questions instead of making judgement on the guy?

Beside, like he said, his English isn't really good to fully express his thought.

About the 11 wives that our beloved Rasoolullah had, Allah had made somethings Halal for the Rasoolullah alone. For example Rasoolullah used to fast in continuous days, but forbade other not to. When they asked why, he replied: "I am not like you, for I am provided with food and drink (by Allah)."

Bukhari. Volume 3, Book 31, Number 145:
Narrated 'Abdullah(ra):
The Prophet fasted for days continuously; the people also did the same but it was difficult for them. So, the Prophet forbade them (to fast continuously for more than one day). They slid, "But you fast without break (no food was taken in the evening or in the morning)." The Prophet replied, "I am not like you, for I am provided with food and drink (by Allah)."

Similarly the 11 wives Allah made it Halal for the Prophet for a particular reason which Allah knows, the Sahaba never questioned it. Also remember the Prophet didn't have 11 wives at one time, some of them died before he married the others.

Shukran akhi for this answer, it clears my questions.
