How about a person who once might have committed an act of kufr (not sure about it) but since then has been a practising muslim, fufilling all obligations such as fasting, salah and has firm belief but since the day he commited that act of kufr never said shahadah with the 'intention' of re-entering islam, (due to the obvious confusion) but of course has been saying shahadah otherwise in his prayers or after ghusl etc. is that enough?
and do we have to give shahdat if we have doubts about whether we commited kufr or not? |

Definitely repentance, the only confusion is regarding having an intention of re-entering islam after possibly committing kufr, isnt`t saying shahada like we say it everyday and having a firm belief in the heart and being a practising Muslim enough that the one who possibly left Islam has now re-entered.
