Salam everyone,
Eid mubarak! Most of the North Africans in the Netherlands (where I live) are salafi. Sometimes I manage to convince a number of them of the importance of taqlid etc. The fact that there is no Dutch Maliki literature (the madhhab of the North Africans) does not really contribute to my success. I did not know it either, but apparently there are very few Dutch people who can handle English-language books on Islam. So I was planning to translate a simple (and small) Maliki work (from English) into Dutch. Anyone suggestions? Other tips or comments are also welcome! |

being salafi doesnt mean they cant be maliki. why not translate the fatawa of salafi shuyookh into dutch regarding taqleed, madhahib etc, surelythat will have more impact? |

I'm asking for those that already accepted taqlid and now wnat to learn (their) Maliki madhhab. But there is not 1 single book in Dutch on Maliki fiqh. |
