Default Question; Collective dua and adhkar in Morocco
salaam alaikum, Eid Mubarak, Taqaballah minkum!

Sisters and brothers, a question - I was recently traveling in Morocco and noticed two things spread out in every masjid I visited:

1. After fard salats there was a collective dua and adhkar, however I was not able to easily discern the words. I am curious if anyone from the Maghrib or who has traveled there knows what the words are to this collective dua and its origins (custom, specific tariqa’s influence, amal practice of early Muslims or Sunnah, etc.)

2. I noticed that after around 10 rakats of tarawih Salat at EVERY masjid I went to, everyone stopped and started reciting specific salawat and adhkar. I at first thought it might be a break in the Tarawih, so I waited to see if the remaining 10 rakats would be prayed but left after a long while when it seemed the whole mosque was emptying out.

These were all strictly Maliki Jamaats in official Masajid and I had previously thought the Malikiyya prayed far more rakats of Tarawih.

I am curious for any insight into these practices and in particular if anyone knows the words of the duas, dhikirs, salawat recited.

Jazakum Allahu Khair ! Pray for the Ummah, and please excuse any of my lapses on this forum or in person brothers and sisters, may Allah accept your amal and aspirations.
