Assalamu Alaikum

Is there any reason why Eid bayans are given before Eid Salah? Jummah Bayan is given before Salah, but so is the Khutba. Eid Khutba is given after salah, so why not give the bayan after the Khutba?

I do not want to hear that "oh people are not going to stay for the Bayan if its after Salah". People can choose to come just before Eid salah if they want to miss the Bayan.

Obviously those who do not deem it necessary for the Khutba to be Arabic only would not be affected by this.
