AlahamduliAllah after many hours of work I have finally been able to set up a live nisaab update on a blog. There is about a 10 minute delay I believe in updating and I am trying to fix it. If there are any programmers they can provide me with some feedback on how I can improve the process. But for now I believe we'll have to do with this. I will add other currencies and other stuff after this is fixed inshaAllah.

edit: I think it updates every 10 minutes (not a 10 minute delay).

Can you tell me if you have used 87.5 grammes of gold and 625 grammes of silver as the basis of nisaab?

The blog was actually meant for local ulema to post original research. I just put up some stuff to show them if they want something along these lines. They wanted live nisab update so I just put it up on the blog. There is also an official website. I am in no position to run any academy on research.

The blog itself has many mistakes. "fiqhhiyyah" spelling is incorrect. The posts are also incomplete as can be seen.

Would the nisaab be of roughly the same value around the world, or is it affected by duties and taxes? The nisab you have on your website, and the ones I see for some other countries around the same time is similar, where as the one calculated form my country is just under $1500 US.

I don't see how that is possible. The nisaab in a certain currency should be the same for everyone.

I was told that here we include the import duties, that is why our nisaab is higher and countries that produce their own gold and silver do not include import duties.
