This is supposed to be an educational forum and one that exists for the sake of amr bil maroof and nahi anil munkar, not a gloating/exposing/arguing forum.

We all know what the Shias get up to and that they are misguided and disbelievers. The ones who don't know, need to be educated WHY the Shias are wrong if they are going to watch the video.
With all due respect, I disagree. If this is not nahi aan munkar and education about wrong practices done in the name of Islam, what is? I do not think "everyone knows what they are up to" Especially with their Taqiyyah and tendancy to play the role of the victim. I have relatives who used to say "oh theres crazy people in every sect", and would sympathise with them. Now that they saw what they say/do and how prevelant it is and how its not just isolated incidents here and there, but something deep in their religion and history, their positions changed 180 degrees.

Sometimes putting certain issues up for debate is in itself giving their arguement more than what its worth. For instance saying "they say bad things about sahaba and curse them" surely isnt as clear as showing a simple video on the way they do it. Rather when you see them celebtaring the death of someone who died more than 1000 years ago, any human would just know its wrong without even discussing, as human nature makes everyone naturally reject such hatred, especially if its in the name of religion. Discussing these issues, looking up references and their authenicity etc sometimes may imply that they are debatable. They arent. Also some laymen and new Muslims dont have the ability to get into such details.

Thats why a picture/image is worth a thousand words. Also, it makes their Taqiyyah pretty hard to practice, and their practices impossible to deny. So that saves a lot of time on debating whether its true or not when they lie and deny it.

Iran/Hizballah now have nearly 50 Shia channels for propaganda. Sunnis in turn, started only a few ones but because of the videos many, many shia laymen have left their religion without getting into details because things became clear to them.

Alhamdulillah now Wesal Farsi has started to do this in Farsi. Causing Iran to go to peoples houses and confiscate and destroy all satellite dishes. They are now accepting videos sent to them so that the world can see what they really practice/say/believe. Discussing with people who lie a lot makes it hard for those with little knowledge to know whats going on, and makes it a longer process. Videos help make things clear and undeniable. Also, it makes people think.

Like when they deny saying the Qur'aan is corrupt, saying "oh this text or that text is weak" (of course without even looking into the chain of narrators). Just showing a video with their sheikhs preaching it makes the discussion a lot shorter.

Im certainly not against debate at all, im just saying I think it should be done along with showing everyone how different what they say in front of us from what they say behind us, and what they really practice.

I certainly hope that brothers and sisters with knowledge of Arabic, Farsi, Urdo, and English could translate many of the available clips. Especially a documentary on Al Khums (20%) money their shiekhs take from people, its history, and how its used. Let people know about Sistani and Al Khoo'ies billions in London.

@Made of Dust : We certainly do pray for their guidence. Theres no conflict between that, and helping them see what their "shiekhs" are about. They can all be done together. Alhamdulillah many, many have returned to Islam after the spread of videos, and the start of Wesal and Safa channels. There used to be nice debates on Al Mustaqillah TV, but the effect of Wesal and Safa were much stronger. Debate, praying for them, and showing what their sheikhs say and practice can all be done together.

Jazakom Allah Khair.

InshAllah Farsi-Spoken Sunni channels are successful!! Let me tell you, as an Iranian myself, the great thing about Iranians is that they are willing to leave their parents' religion if they see it's no good. This is a good quality, as expounded on in the Quran. Yes, many have left "Islam" and even mock it, but they are mocking what they've been told "Islam" is (i.e. Shia version). So they mock the ridiculous mourning rituals, the beating of oneselves with chains etc. InshAllah, if they hear the truth and familiarize themselves with true Islam, as given in the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, they will return back to Islam.

Persian Muslims - throughout history - have contributed greatly to Islam, especially in the realm of scholarship, administration and science, and they are of a great benefit to the Ummah. All of the parts that make-up the Ummah, from around the world, need to be retooled and made stronger - as all communities from different ethnicity, "nationalities" and regions have contributed to Islam's legacy - we need to keep everyone in our prayers. We are really on a downward spiral and need to return back to the deen to become great people once again.

I really feel the "Islamic" Revolution - which was was a revolution against the Western-backed Shah, and was hijacked through mass murder and corruption by the Shia clerics - is beneficial in the long run to Islam in Iran because the Clerics are exposing themselves, showing their true face by governing their daily affairs and, in turn, people have absolutely hated their guts.

Jazak Allah Khair for the beautiful reply. It certainly was. Dr Abdulraheem al Blooshi actually was with Al Khumaini in the beginning, and is now only exposing whats going on. He dedicated his life to this and always talks about them being isolated, and how fast and willing they are to leave their religion. He said if they werent so isolated the change would be much more dramatic.

At the time of Khumaini, Ayat Allah Al Burqui البرقعي was one of the highest in rank among Shias (and not just any Ayatullah) who became Sunni, and wrote the book "Kasr Al Sanam" (Breaking the Idol)., they shot him and after surviving they had him spend life in prison.

The public are really isolated due to linguistic and political barriers, since the Safavid rule of Iran. Much more material (books, TV channels etc) in Farsi is needed to create awareness among the general public who are only victims of the gangs that rule and collect Khums money.

Very true, the Persian one was one of the most influential and most widely influential (ranging from Turkey to China; from Central Asia to South India) Islamic cultures; we make du'a' that more and more Persians come back to the true Islam and get prepared to take their role back in our Ummah, insha'Allah.

A video showing balloons with "Aisha is in hell" written on them. And a cake with the same written on it. As they sing the same phrase. How sick and hateful. I mean not only from a religious point of view. They need to see a psychologist or something.
