What do people do to make Eid as spiritually and fun a day for children as possible. Eid will have long days in summer over the next 10 years or so...... any ideas?

Eed will have short days down in the south...

I like the idea of having like a small Islamic Trivia contest, in which the children win prizes according to who answers the most questions. We also used to play the Noun game (name/place/animal/thing) and Scrabble.. You can make them Islamic themed. Also maybe take the children to someplace like a Muslim orphanage, or a soup kitchen and have them help out (if they like that sort of thing). It would be fun and also a learning experience.

If parents/elders are willing to spend extra time with kids, you can also have Islamic themed arts and crafts, stories, or an Islamic themed Mad libs.
