Skullcaps
For any English speaking Muslims out there, what is the usual name for the skullcap that many Muslims men choose to wear?
What do you usually call it?
Is it okay to refer to it as simply a 'skullcap'? What's the most appropriate term to label the headwear?

In the west it's usually called a Kufi (mostly) or Topi.

Kufi, Kufiya, Taagiyyah, Qulonsowah etc. People call it different things depending on their local dialect and language. Ive never heard of the word you mention describing it so I dont know if its linguistically proper or not.
