Narrated Sahl bin Sad ...

Allah's Apostle said,...

"The people will remain on the right path as long as they hasten the breaking of the fast."

TARAWIH PRAYERS [performed by Allah's Messenger ]

'A'isha reported:

The Messenger of Allah came out during the night and observed prayer in the mosque and some of the people prayed along with him....

When it was morning the people talked about this and so a large number of people gathered there.
The Messenger of Allah went out for the second night, and they (the people) prayed along with him.

When it was morning the people began to talk about it. So the mosque thronged with people on the third night. He (the Holy Prophet ) came out and they prayed along with him.

When it was the fourth night, the mosque was filled to its utmost capacity but the Messenger of Allah did not come out....

Some persons among then cried: " Prayer." But the Messenger of Allah did not come to them till he came out for the morning prayer. ...

When he had completed the morning prayer, he turned his face to the people and recited Tashahhud (I bear testi- mony that there is no god but Allah and I bear testimony that Muhammad is His Messen- ger) and then said:...
Your affair was not hidden from me in the night, but I was afraid that (my observing prayer continuously) might make the night prayer obligatory for you and you might be unable to perform it.

[sahih Muslim]

Salam alikum,

It is called the night of Power (i.e Laelat-ut Qadr) or the night of blessing (Laelat-ul mubarak). The deed in this night is better than the rewards of deeds of 1,000 months (about 83.3 years).

Salam alikum,

Sahih Muslim :: Book# 6 :: Hadith# 2563

Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported: When any one of you gets up in the morning in the state of fasting, he should neither use obscene language nor do any act of ignorance.

And if anyone slanders him or quarrels with him, he should say:” I am fasting, I am fasting.”

LailatulQadr Dua

A'isha r.a. narrated: I asked Allah's Messenger (saws),

"If I find Lailatul Qadar then what should I do? He (saws) said, recite..

"ALLAH HUMMA INNAKA A’FUVUN TOHIBBUL AFVA FA’AFU ANNI"

"O Allah! You are the Forgiver and You like forgiving so forgive me."

Quran: Surah Al-Qadr (97:1-5)

1."Surely We revealed it (Quran) on the grand night.
2.And what will make you comprehend what the grand night is?
3.The grand night is better than a thousand months.
4.The angels and Gabriel descend in it by the permission of their Lord for every affair.
5.Peace! it is till the break of the morning."

"Rasullullah said: ...the angel Jibra’il appeared before me & said:

Destruction
to him who found the blessed month of Ramadan &

let it pass by without gaining forgiveness...

’ Upon that I said: ‘Amin.’"

Abu Hurairah reports,

Rasulullah said:

"There are three persons whose Dua is not rejected,...

The fasting person until he breaks the fast,....

The just ruler,.... and

The oppressed person,....

whose Dua Allah lifts above the clouds...

and opens unto it the doors of Jannah... and

Allah says,

'I swear by my honor, verily , I shall assist you,

even though it may be after sometime.' "

Fasting and [reading] Quran will intercede:

Abdullaah Ibn ‘Amr narrated:

Messenger of Allaah said:

“Fasting and [reading] Quran will intercede for the person...

Fasting will say: O Lord I forbade him from eating and drinking so let me intercede for him,... and

The Quran will say: I deprived him from his sleep at night so let me intercede for him,”....

He , then said: “So their intercession will be accepted.”
